Scott Naasz is the Founder and President of North Star Commercial Real Estate Advisors. He is responsible for the overall direction and execution of the business, as well as serving as the team’s lead broker.

Prior to starting North Star Commercial, Scott spent almost 30 years working in Corporate America. Through his experiences, he learned a lot about the business world and found that he naturally gravitated towards roles where he had the opportunity to help others. Aspirations to own his own business came to light, and Scott ultimately decided to bring his big company experience to a startup commercial real estate firm.

He wholeheartedly believes in the value of relationships and that they are built on trust over time. Scott is very passionate about the fact that he and his team always make decisions with the client’s best interest in mind, period.

Scott was born and raised in North Dakota and attended college at the University of Mary. He played collegiate football and loves football of all kinds to this day. He is an avid fan and a season ticket holder for both the Minnesota Gophers and the Vikings.

In his free time, you’ll likely find him tailgating in his purple Skol Patrol bus on Sunday mornings at all Vikings home games. Scott has been married to his wife, Daena for 25 years and has two children, Ava and Jack.
